The GT Max exists for one thing: the biggest picture you can wear today. Its 59-degree field of view is the widest in our catalogue, and the virtual screen scales up to 307 inches — no other viewer we have compared gets this close to the feeling of a cinema seat. Three sizes by interpupillary distance and official prescription lenses complete the idea: this is built for long sessions in front of a film or a game.
That field of view is paid for in grams: 78 of them, among the heaviest in its category, and you feel it on the bridge of your nose in long sessions. PS5, Xbox and Switch need a separate HDMI adapter, and there is a gap RayNeo should fix: its spec table has no battery row at all, so we assume it draws its power from the device it is plugged into over USB-C.
Who is it for? Anyone who puts the picture above everything else — that is where it leads its category in our table.
