What we process

Anonymous analytics. We use cookieless analytics that collects no personally identifiable data and builds no profiles: aggregate page views, referrers and country only.

Email. If you write to us, we process what you send solely to reply.

Affiliate links. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to the retailer's site (Amazon, RayNeo, Ray-Ban and others). That retailer may set its own tracking cookies to attribute the sale to us. That processing is the retailer's responsibility under their own privacy policy, not ours. These cookies load only with your consent.

Legal basis

Your consent for third-party and affiliate cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); our legitimate interest in running the site and measuring aggregate audience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

You may exercise access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).

International transfers

Some services we rely on (hosting, fonts, affiliate networks) operate servers outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR.

Product images linked from the manufacturer

Product photos on some pages are not hosted on our servers: your browser loads them directly from the manufacturer's official website (for example, Meta's CDN). When it does, that manufacturer receives your IP address, as with any website you visit. We configure these images so that the Glaiss page you are reading is not sent along (no-referrer policy), so the manufacturer does not learn which review or comparison you are looking at. If you prefer to avoid these connections, you can block third-party content in your browser; the page will show a data panel instead of the photo.
